Editorial Guidelines

OAAS editors are expected to uphold the highest standards of academic integrity, fairness, transparency, and scholarly responsibility. Editorial decisions must be based solely on the manuscript’s quality, originality, relevance, and compliance with journal standards.

Editors must avoid conflicts of interest, preserve confidentiality in peer review, and ensure that all accepted content is accurate, ethically sourced, and appropriately attributed.

All manuscripts undergo a rigorous and confidential peer review process. Reviewers are selected based on expertise, independence, and absence of conflicts that could compromise objectivity.

Reviewers are expected to provide constructive, evidence-based feedback on originality, methodology, scientific rigor, interpretation, and presentation. Their assessments should remain fair, professional, and respectful.

Editorial decisions are made after careful review of the recommendations received from independent reviewers. The editor may request revision, reject the submission, or accept it for publication when the manuscript meets the required standard.

Editors, reviewers, and authors must disclose any financial, institutional, personal, or professional relationships that may influence judgment. Any such conflict should be declared before participation in the process.

Unpublished manuscript content must remain confidential throughout the review process, and no material may be used for personal advantage or external publication until formal editorial publication decisions are made.

Final editorial checks cover correctness of references, consistency of formatting, agreement between data and conclusions, and compliance with OAAS publishing standards. Articles must be scientifically accurate before publication.

Corrections, retractions, and editorial notes may be issued when errors are identified after publication to preserve trust and accuracy in the scholarly record.

The editorial team is responsible for maintaining publication standards, guiding review policies, supporting authors, and promoting the journal’s scholarly impact without compromising ethics or objectivity.
